Overview

Following the success of 2017's Carbon-Free City Handbook targeted at cities and other local / municipal governments, Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI) invited us to again partner on development of a follow-on guide, the Carbon-Free Regions Handbook, geared toward states, provinces, and other regional governments. With the design direction largely based on its predecessor, our role focused on research and co-writing the new Handbook. It officially launched in September 2018 in collaboration with The Climate Group, which serves as the secretariat to the Under2 Coalition, a community of state and regional governments together to committed to reducing their greenhouse gas emissions in line with the Paris Agreement.
