Donor Communications That Resonate at Rocky Mountain Institute

Overview
As Rocky Mountain Institute's editorial director, IPA Founder Peter Bronski spearheaded a comprehensive overhaul of the organization's donor communications, especially focused on its magazine, Solutions Journal, and annual report. The wide-ranging effort included: a) new editorial vision emphasizing people- and impact-centric narrative storytelling, b) editorial redesign of the magazine's front-of-book, department, and feature well sections, c) ground-up redesign of the print editions of the magazine and annual report, and d) launch of a new, responsive digital version of the magazine that worked seamlessly across desktop, laptop, tablet, and smartphone devices. The result was a substantial bump in readership and content resonance among RMI's philanthropic base.
