Coronal Energy Re-branding and Marketing Strategy

Overview
Prior to Fall 2016, four legacy brands—Coronal Group, Coronal Development Services (formerly Heliosage), Blue Oak Energy, and the Energy Solutions Group at Panasonic Enterprise Solutions—confusingly went to market as an integrated platform. As the acting director of marketing and communications for Panasonic's Energy Solutions Group, IPA Founder Peter Bronski led the comprehensive re-branding of the platform, unveiled at Solar Power International in September 2016: Coronal Energy, powered by Panasonic. The effort included developing a new tagline (Smarter Solar. Smarter Business.), new core messaging, and consolidating the brand onto a newly launched website, CoronalEnergy.com. Following re-launch of the brand, focus turned to brand stewardship, marketing and sales enablement, content marketing via owned assets (e.g., CoronalEnergy.com blog), and multimedia.
